Hazelnut establishment training and work day
CCCWC member Nate Smith is hosting a hazelnut establishment training and work party at his farm (s2109 Co. Rd B., Westby) at 10am this Friday (9/25). Join us to learn best practices for hazelnut establishment, get hands on experience, and help get some trees in the ground!
Everyone is welcome to come and participate as they are able, whether that’s planting trees or enjoying coffee, company, and hazelnut treats out in the orchard. Bring gloves, water, work boots and your favorite tree planting tools. Be prepared for a short walk out to the planting site.
